Simon Garrett MA CMIOSH MIIRSM Dip2.OSH
Managing Director
First and foremost a line manager with a Masters Degree in Management Practice Simon is a qualified Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner and a security specialist. After a military career specialising in surveillance, Simon began his civilian career working as a security consultant for P&O. In 1996 he was appointed Operations Director of Earls Court which he left in 2002 to set up X-Venture. Simon is an IOSH trainer and a Course Director at the Cabinet Office Emergency Planning College
Kitty Garrett BSc (Hons)
Director and Food Safety Specialist
After completing a food microbiology degree at Nottingham University Kitty worked for the Institute of Food Research on Department of Health and DEFRA projects and then at Barbour Index as an editor on their food safety briefings. As well as food safety consultancy Kitty runs the training aspects of the business.
Steve Richards AIIRSM Tech IOSH

Consultant Trainer and Fire Safety Specialist
Steve honed his skills as a first class trainer during 22 years in the Army. On leaving the Army he joined the Health and Safety Department at Earls Court where he gained his NEBOSH General Certificate and CFPA Certificate in Fire Prevention. Recently Steve completed his diploma in stress management. He joined X-Venture in 2006 bringing his skill sets in training and fire safety management. In addition to consultancy and training Steve is an experienced event floor manager and production safety officer.
